Well, my first post was back in January and here I am May 27 and not one pound lighter. I did have times where I dropped five pounds or so, but gained it back. I didn't dedicate myself like I thought I would, either to my blog or my diet/exercise.
I'm ready to try again though. My goals will start out smaller this time. I think that it's an easier way for anyone to start something that is a "big task" for them.
My first goal will be to not eat chocolate tomorrow. I know that sounds small, but I eat it daily. Yep....I'm addicted to chocolate and it's a problem. I'm going to have to go day by day on this one. I'm also going to add fruit as one of my snacks. My go-to snack is always a granola bar of some sort. I'm going to try to change that too, because really it's just yummy carbs. No good stuff there. I'll be trying to substitute fruit instead.
That's all for today, except of course the goal of trying to blog more often. I'll aim for 1-2 times per week. I hope to motivate others too!

My First Post
I have two beautiful children, a little lady who is 3 and a half and a little man who is 17 months. I put on 35 pounds with my first pregnancy and only lost 15 lbs. before I became pregnant with my 2nd child. I have lost and gained a few pounds since giving birth to my son, but as of today, I am 1 lb. less than when I left the hospital after giving birth 17 months ago.
I've known that it is time to lose the weight for awhile now, but just haven't done it. My clothes don't fit and it makes me miserable, but still I eat what I want.
I've finally decided that it is time to start losing the 40+ extra pounds that are on my body.
I've never created a blog before, but I think it will help me to lose the weight by journaling it on my blog. I also hope that it will help inspire others. :)
